I have followed speedway since I can remember, my first meeting “apparently” was when I was about 17 weeks old at Exeter (dad says I slept through the whole meeting). With a speedway and motorcycle background my family have followed Poole Pirates since it began in 1948 (grandad rode scrambles in the 60s, my dad rode mx in the 70s – 90s, my dad also tried speedway with Exeter in the late 80s but by his own admission was not good enough). My first ride on a motorbike was a malaguti 50cc age 6, I first raced mx at the age of 7 and won my first trophy, 6th place at my first ever meeting at Mannington (Dorset) in December '98, progressing from the malaguti to 65cc/85cc and finally a 125cc at age 14 in 2006, but I had longed to race speedway and in October 2006 dad bought my first speedway bike, a 500cc jawa longstroke, I had my first ride at Newport in nov 06, I kept with the jawa until it went bang at Somerset, then in June 07 we decided to sell the mx bike to get a 2nd speedway bike and bought a GM shortstroke which I felt much more comfortable on. Academy rides became available followed by lining up for Weymouth in the conference league my riding improved with these matches, ending the season scoring 6 + 2 guesting for Rye House v Boston, followed by a paid maximum in the academy league the next day at Eastbourne for Rye House AL team (the first time I had ever been there). I am really looking forward to 2008 I have agreed to join Weymouth in the conference league.

I would like to thank everyone who has helped and advised me in 2007 and look forward to seeing everyone again in ’08.

Ambition: To ride for Poole Pirates one day and eventually race for England (GB) and go on to world championships.

Music - I listen to RnB mostly. When I am racing speedway however I listen to “get you in the mood” music so songs like Sandstorm by Darude are great.

Achievments to date: racing for Weymouth conference team, Somerset + Swindon Academy teams and and Gaining Sponsors in my first year of speedway. winning my first race and my first academy maximum

Worst Injury: broken collarbone age 7 at mx.
